Performance continues in lockdown: Wings cast perform rendition of "Make Your Own Kind Of Music".

Wings Youth Theatre had a very busy first year - a full scale musical production of Grease Jr swiftly followed by a cabaret style concert. Both productions were received by audiences with enthusiasm and positivity. Wings were on a roll - two successful productions under our belt and members and audiences with a thirst for more. Then the Covid 19 crisis struck and, along with the rest of the Country, Wings closed our doors and our members stayed home.
Team Wings were keen to maintain momentum and ensure our Wings youngsters were still able to connect and enjoy music and theatre during the lockdown. We therefore quickly embarked on weekly sessions via Zoom to include 'step up to the mic', script readings and quizzes! This was a great way of keeping our members connected, but what about Wings’ audiences?
To stay in contact with our loyal followers, Wings decided to create a music video to share with audiences via technology. With enthusiasm, resourcefulness and hard work from members - Wings pulled it off! Watch the video here and see some of Wings' lovely members perform their hearts out... it is sure to make you smile!
